Pregnancy & Parent & Baby Yoga classes
I'm thrilled to be offering both prenatal & postnatal yoga classes in the Southside of Glasgow.
I trained to be a yoga teacher whilst I was pregnant with our first daughter in 2011, became a Senior Yoga Teacher pregnant with our second daughter in 2015, and felt so well from the holistic care yoga offers.
I am so grateful for the community it gave me. Having support from other mums on the same journey was invaluable especially with our first child, where it can feel daunting, tiring and more all at once. I met some lovely mums to be in my prenatal and mummy & baby classes and we are still good friends today as our families grow!
I cannot wait to welcome you into a nurturing, nourishing class devoted to your wellbeing during your pregnancy and when your little one/s arrive!
Prenatal Nurture Yoga
Tuesdays 6.15 - 7.15pm, Blair Hall, Newlands South Church
- Gentle flow yoga for maintaining strength, joints & pelvic floor health throughout your pregnancy
- Easing sore tight overworked muscles
- Helping re-establish good posture
- Breathing for calm and birth

Welcome to a class crafted for you & your baby
Gentle flow yoga to stretch and release, re-establish a good core connection, rebuild core strength; lovely baby massage with little extras (nursery rhymes, chimes and bubbles) with time after for a well deserved cuppa and chat
This is a nurturing space for you to bond with your baby / babies, make friends and feel supported with no judgement or need to be anything other than yourself.
Some days we can feel we are rocking parenthood, others it is enough to get out of the door dressed, and our babies have their own ideas about how the day will go! This class welcomes us however we are, offering a wee refuge of calm, kindness and connection
If a birth mum, please ensure you have had your postnatal 6 week check and have the go ahead to attend postnatal classes, as this initial time is essential for postpartum healing. Suitable for babies until crawling.
Whilst most of the class content is aimed at postnatal recovery and babies, all parents and carers are welcome with their baby/babies. We all benefit from a good stretch and calming practice!
Please bring a yoga mat, cushion, blanket and any toys for your baby.
